See what's new in the Chalks & Chill League Scorekeeping System.
Clearer Player Names and Break Indicators
Player names are now larger on the score-entry screen, and a gold BREAKS badge appears under the player or pair who breaks in eight-ball, nine-ball and Scotch doubles. The eight-ball board also shows who breaks beneath each round heading, with Alternating breaks shown for round five.
How to use it
Tap a game on your board and look for the BREAKS badge beneath the name to see who breaks. Scoring rules and existing results are unchanged.
See Your Upcoming Matches
See your remaining match dates, opponents, Home or Visiting, and your table assignments in one compact list. The list follows the current league schedule.
How to use it
On your Team page, select Upcoming Matches. Refresh the page to see any schedule changes.
Request a Score or Special-Stat Correction
Forgot an ERO or another special stat, or found a wrong score after your match was completed? You can now request a correction from your Team page. The opposing team must confirm the exact change, then an administrator reviews and applies it. Results stay unchanged until administrator approval.
How to use it
On your Team page, choose Request a correction, then Score or special stat. Select the completed match and game and explain the correction. For a missing special stat only, leave both scores unchanged. The other team will see a highlighted request to confirm on their Team page. Name corrections still need a request from only your own team. For an ongoing match, continue to use Unlock Score.
Request a Name Correction
Need a name corrected? Use “Request a correction” on your team page, then choose Team or player name. An administrator will review your request. Team names can only be changed once per season, before handicaps begin.
How to use it
Open your Team page, select Request a correction, then Team or player name, and choose your team or the player whose name needs correcting. Enter the correct name and submit your request.
Correct a Locked Game Score
Entered the wrong score? During an ongoing eight-ball, nine-ball, or Scotch doubles match, open the agreed game and tap Unlock Score below the score panel. Confirm, correct the score, and have both teams save again. The game locks once both teams agree. Completed matches still need an administrator to make corrections.
How to use it
Open the agreed game, tap Unlock Score, and confirm. Correct the score, then have both teams save again.
9-Ball: See Which Game Is Next
The next game now has a gold border and a NEXT GAME label on both teams’ boards. Once both teams save matching scores, the highlight moves to the next game. If a result is waiting or mismatched, it stays highlighted until resolved.
How to use it
Open your nine-ball board and tap the highlighted game. The next-game notice also names both players, so Home and Visiting can easily find the same matchup.
Review Your Previous Matches
Open completed matches from your Team page to review the scoreboard, individual game scores, round results and player totals. History is read-only and shows the latest official results, including any saved score corrections.
How to use it
Sign in, choose Previous Matches, and select a date and opponent. Open or refresh a match to see its latest results.
New Scorekeeping Board for Chill 9-Ball
Nine-ball now uses the familiar green scorekeeping-board style with its own three-round grid. Rounds stack on a portrait phone and sit side by side in landscape. Follow badges 1st through 27th, tap a matchup to score, and see the winner and final score when both sides agree.
How to use it
Open your nine-ball match and choose your lineup. Tap a game to enter its result; Save Game returns you to the board. Use Score Review for the score breakdown. Scotch doubles keeps its existing scoring screen.
New Scorekeeping Board for Winter 8-Ball
Your matchup board is now the main scorekeeping screen. Choose your lineup directly on the board, then follow the numbered badges from 1 to 25. Tap a matchup to enter scores and special stats. Save Game returns you to the board automatically. Blue means waiting for the other team, red means the entries disagree, and green means agreed and locked. H or V shows the winner. Use Score Review for round scores, handicaps and player totals. Substitutions remain available inside individual games.
How to use it
Sign in and select Continue to Game. Watch the new tutorial for a quick walkthrough. Before leaving, confirm that all 25 games are locked and “Your match is complete” appears.
Next Match
Your Team page can now show your next scheduled match, including the opponent, date, Home/Visiting side and table assignment.
How to use it
Sign in to your Team page and look for Next Match. Lineup and scorekeeping open at 10:00 AM on match day.
